About SE Forum.
Social Entrepreneurship Forum (SE Forum) was founded in 2004 in Stockholm, Sweden, to connect changemakers and thought leaders wanting to use entrepreneurship and business as a force for good. Since then we have launched various initiatives and projects supporting social entrepreneurs, with 100 Swedish and global entrepreneurs taking part in our accelerators and many more have received training, coaching, networking and support to scale and develop.
Our strategic focus has also been to strengthen the ecosystem for social entrepreneurs to thrive and we work in strategic partnerships to raise awareness, advocate for better opportunities, and to inspire towards entrepreneurship and innovation that creates positive social and environmental impact.

With increasing local and global societal challenges, we can see a shift where social entrepreneurship is going from a niche approach carried out by a few to something more mainstream taken on by entrepreneurs across all industries.
Entrepreneurs and businesses are looking at ways to create positive change, for people and the planet, and an increasing amount of entrepreneurs want to focus on social and environmental impact in addition to financial profit. Today, they champion a circular economy, reduce inequality, excel the green transition, increase diversity in education, improve how we take care of the elderly, or make life better for vulnerable children. Our history.
Since 2004, SE Forum has worked with various partners, coaches, mentors, project managers, board members and funders to support social entrepreneurs and innovators across the globe to grow and to increase the positive social and environmental impact they do. We’ve worked in various projects, initiatives, programmes and accelerators and we have put together a few highlights in the timeline below.
