The Bhalo Hub

The Bhalo Hub is a multi-stakeholder collaboration hub for workers, suppliers, buyers, industrial organisations, networks, NGOs and governments working in or with garment production in Bangladesh. The garment sector in Bangladesh is expected to grow but working and living conditions for workers in the industry are not acceptable. A multi-stakeholder cooperation is necessary as a force for change. The Bhalo Hub will improve working and living conditions, based on workers’ rights and human rights for textile workers by extending and sharing established CSR/sustainability strategies, training programmes and systems to small and medium size garment factories in Bangladesh. The workers, communities and factories as well as the garment sector and Bangladesh as a country will gain from better working conditions and respect of human rights.
