Solar power systems

Ali Khan intends to improve the electricity supply in the countryside of Pakistan by using solar power systems. In particular, he wants to address the problem of food insecurity and poverty amongst farmers, by ensuring access to electricity. Today, agricultural productivity is low in many parts of rural Pakistan, as water pumps needed on the farms do not work due to the lack of electricity. Ali’s enterprise will ensure that farmers have access to clean energy in an effort to increase their agricultural productivity. Ali will take care of the logistics behind this solar system service and by targeting these marginalised farmers, he will have a positive social impact on both electricity, water and food supply in Pakistan.
