Using dialogue to create social cohesion amongst women who are facing discrimination in their communities

Marwa

When youth are recruited into extremist groups, the effects on the families, particularly women, are harmful. Marwa is using dialogue to create social cohesion amongst women who are facing discrimination in their communities.

“I love working in my country especially in my own community. I dream of a more inclusive and developed Tunisia where every human is respected.”

Marwa is a doctoral student in onco-genetics but is passionate about social work and civic engagement, and has been working with associations since the Tunisian revolution. She is a monitoring and evaluation officer of a local project with El Jahedh Forum.
