The second SE Innovation Lab took place in Ystad, where 8 participants came together in the quest to go from idea to business.
Participants got the opportunity to formalize their ideas and pin point the different aspects of their business idea by working with the Business Model Canvas. During an intensive weekend, focus was placed on anchoring the different aspects, and completing the entrepreneurial puzzle in order to make the ideas marketable – all along whilst keeping a social entrepreneurial perspective in mind.
“It has been very instructive and rewarding. I have been able to really put time and effort into developing our idea, Brukarportalen. The way it has deveoped is not the way I thought it would, but we have taken several steps forward” says Arne Schedin, one of the participants.
The business ideas ranged from how to create an app to enable carpooling to creating a supportive system for organizations and ventures that operate in Chine and want to do sustainable businesses. The broad range illustrates how social entrepreneurship is a suitable model for any business sector.
