About Björn Almér, CEO Barista Fair Trade Coffee
Björn and his co-workers, Nina and Maria, started Barista in 2006 with two goals in mind: to provide cafés that were serious about coffee, and at the same time, promoted an ethical way of thinking. Today Barista is “the first ethical coffee shop in Scandinavia” and has won several prices such as “Änglamarkspriset” for the best environmental work.
About Smilling Cashew
Smiling Cashew sells cashew nuts, which are grown and harvested in Gambia, and then directly sent to Sweden. The main problem with the cashew industry in Gambia is that when the local farmers have harvested their nuts they are usually sent to India to be peeled, often under miserable working conditions. Smiling Cashew wants to change this!
SE Forum invites you to an evening of discussions and mingling. Bring your ideas and join us in this inspirational seminar. The seminar will be held in English.
